Pesach Children’s Program

The program includes art activities on the appropriate days and on those days where art is not permitted, the children will be occupied with fun, stimulating and age appropriate games.

Overview of Children’s Team

My name is Gaby Friedman, I am married and have 2 teenage boys which means that my life is very busy. I have been teaching for 18 years and feel as passionate and dedicated as when I first started. I have always been involved with children, be it formal or informal programmes. I am a qualified swimming teacher, I run my own winter camp and have been involved with several children’s programs including Limmud Cape Town for 12 years, the Jewish Literacy Festival since its inception, Gan Izzy, Sinai Indaba and feel very fortunate to be involved with Pesach at the President Hotel, this will be my 5th year.

Eunice Tokwe is married with 3 children, her youngest daughter is in grade 6. She has been working as a teacher’s assistant at the Phyllis Jowell school/Yeshiva College of Cape Town for 15 years. Euni is a Passionate, professional, trustworthy and nurturing woman who has given love and security to so many children over the years. Euni has worked in many children’s programs including Pesach at the President hotel for 4 years, Gaby Friedman’s Winter camps and the Jewish Literacy Festival. She has been involved with Limmud Cape Town since it’s first year 12 years ago and is looking forward to a fantastic Pesach at the President Hotel.

Jean Namate also has 3 children. Her youngest child is 6 and is in grade R this year. Jean has been a teacher’s assistant at the Phyllis Jowell school for 8 years. During those years she has completed a facilitators course and an ORT teaching course. Jean is a very capable, passionate and trustworthy woman who shares a love of children and is always looking for ways to help them achieve their potential. Jean has worked in many children’s programs including the Jewish Literacy Festival, Winter holiday camps with Gaby Friedman and Pesach at the President Hotel. She also looks forward to a great Pesach 2019 at the President Hotel.
